TOUGHMAN is a triathlon event that caters to Collegiate, Olympic, Long Course, Aquabike, and Kids Triathlons. Our event is designed for athletes of all levels – whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a first-time participant. Our event is scheduled to take place on September 14-15, 2024, and registration is open now. Our beautiful course offers scenic views and a challenging terrain that will test your endurance. We offer a variety of race categories to choose from, including Collegiate, Olympic, Long Course, Aquabike, and Kids Triathlons – so there’s something for everyone.

Lake Welch Beach State Park’s man-made Lake Welch, with its half-mile-long sandy beach in the wooded hills of the Ramapo Mountains, is the largest beach in Harriman State Park.

Take FDR North to exit 18 for Willis Avenue Bridge toward I-87/Deegan Expressway. Use the left lane to take the Maj Deegan Expwy ramp to Albany. Merge onto I-87 N. Take Exit 7S, follow signs for I-95 S/U.S. 1 S/Trenton/George Washington Bridge and merge onto I-95 S/US-1 S. Take exit 74 toward Palisades Parkway N. Use the left lane to take exit 16 toward Lake Welch Dr/Lake Welch/Sebago Beach. Continue onto Lake Welch Pkwy/New York State Reference Rte 987A.
From NYC Westside
Get on George Washington Bridge/Interstate 95 Upper Level S/US-1 Upper Level S from Riverside Dr. Follow Palisades Interstate Pkwy N to Willow Grove Rd in Rockland County. Take exit 14 from Palisades Interstate Pkwy N.
From NJ
Take NJ-4 W, Garden State Pkwy and Palisades Interstate Pkwy N to Lake Welch Pkwy/New York State Reference Rte 987A in Stony Point. Take exit 16 from Palisades Interstate Pkwy N.
